It all started when...
Matt Christie has been immersed in the world of crafting wood since a very close encounter with a Christmas Tree. (see picture) With the help of his dad during high school, he built a shaker tall chest, and pencil post bed. While most kids were tuned into MTV, Matt was studying the craft of Norm Abram on The New Yankee Workshop. After college, his career took a twist and he began teaching. One of the classes was wood shop. From there the rest is history. He built numerous projects over the years. He is still teaching wood shop and engineering by day, and working on projects at night. When he isn't in the workshop, he's off adventuring with his wife Sarah, their kids, Tucker, Kaisa, and Kennedy, and don’t forget their dog Summit!
